Dundee’s Copper Lungs made a brilliant comeback to the music scene in 2024 with their recent singles ‘Younger Heart’ and ‘Falling’.

The rising pop-rock sensation has established themselves as ones to watch, sharing stages with the likes of Fatherson and The Xcerts, and earning recognition from BBC Radio 1 Introducing and Amazing Radio.

Their new single ‘Life Your Way’ might have started as a challenge to write a song about a pet, but it quickly became a tribute to the bonds we cherish and the memories that live on after those we love are gone.

Driven by infectious energy, the track reminds us that every moment, every emotion, and every connection holds the potential for something beautiful.

Copper Lungs breaks new ground with a post-storm anthem you didn’t know you needed!

Their latest single, Pieces of Me, which dropped on the 8th of November, is like that deep breath you take after a storm has passed.

“We’ve been breaking our own rules lately,” shares songwriter and frontman Darren. “We’re letting each song take its own journey. ‘Pieces of Me’ has definitely been one of those tracks that started in one place and ended in another.”

With this revitalised sound gaining momentum, Pieces of Me pushes Copper Lungs’s boundaries further than ever before and gives you yet another reason to keep the band on your radar!

Fresh off announcing a UK tour and securing a support slot for Elliot Minor at their sold-out Edinburgh gig, Copper Lungs is proving that 2024’s momentum was only the beginning. Dropping on May 16th, their new album Broken Beautiful is the result of tireless work and unrelenting passion for music.

Entirely self-funded and released without any label support, it’s made up of 11 tracks that define Copper Lungs: big hooks, authentic storytelling, and a whole lot of indie pop-rock charm.

Taking a refreshingly creative approach to the album launch, Copper Lungs are also inviting fans into their world through a virtual escape room, letting people preview the album by solving puzzles tied to some tracks.
