Meet epona

Hailing from Belgium, epona – Epona Guillaume – discovered the thrill of being on stage as an actress at age 7. While still pursuing her acting career, she’s now exploring new avenues with music. She found in songwriting a way to authentically open up to her audience and address important topics that are close to her heart.

About the process of writing ‘Voice’, epona says: “The inspiration behind the song came from conversations I had with women about the lack of consideration and double standards we all have experienced at some point. ‘Voice’ is a reminder that the struggle for gender equality is ongoing.”

With her dedication to creating meaningful art, epona is poised to become a powerful voice in the indie rock music scene.

Help I’m Fine!

22-year-old epona fearlessly addresses social issues faced by many in her debut EP ‘Help I’m Fine!’, using it as a platform to raise awareness, take action and call for a more inclusive and compassionate world.

The EP came out Friday 13th October 2023 on all platforms, along with the third single ‘Don’t Care!’.

‘Help I’m Fine!’ promises to be an exciting musical journey that sparks conversations around women’s rights, gender inequalities and harassment, all set against the backdrop of an alternative rock soundscape that echoes the vibes of the ’90s and 2000s rock era.

Peine Pour Toi

With Peine Pour Toi, Epona pushes her artistic boundaries with her first song in French that tells a deeply personal story.

The song is about betrayal in a professional setting, where manipulation and broken trust take centre stage. A year after crossing paths with a so-called director, Epona realises she’s not the only one he’s deceived—other victims have spoken out too.

But rather than giving in to anger or resentment, she expresses a kind of sadness for him, calling him pitiful. True to her signature authenticity, epona turns a painful experience into something powerful.
